She was born on July 3, 1944, in Oakton, Virginia, the youngest of three girls to Keith and Edith Dyer. Gail graduated from Madison High School in Vienna and James Madison College in Harrisonburg.
She married the love of her life, Kenneth Myers, on July 8, 1967. She was a teacher for Arlington County Schools for two years before staying home to raise their four children.
Gail and Ken were active in McLean Bible, Immanuel Bible, and Reston Presbyterian Churches. Gail loved Jesus, and she loved others well. She had the gift of mercy, and was known for her compassionate heart and encouraging words.
She is survived by her husband Ken, all four children, Heather, Melody, Rich, Scott, and their families. She is also survived by her oldest sister, Jeanne.
The service to honor Gail’s life will be held Friday, May 12th, at Demaine Funeral Home in Fairfax. Visitation will be held from 10am to noon. The service will begin at noon with a graveside service immediately following.
