Robert Gene Humphrey Sr.

Bobby was married to his beloved wife, Juanita Humphrey for 56 years.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Henry Thomas; and his son, Robert Gene Humphrey, Jr.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Juanita; mother, Lola Marguerite; granddaughter, Stevie Collier; great grandson, Kyptin Collier; sister, Susan (Mike) Clark, brother, Larry (Susan) Humphrey; brother-in-law, Steve (Sherry) Shacklette; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Bobby loved working with his hands, whether that be designing homes to be built, working on projects around the house or more recently, putting together jigsaw puzzles and working his Sodoku puzzles. During his life he had enjoyed the game of golf, evenings at the bowling alley, and hosting family and friends in their houses in southern Florida. Bobby had a strong and bold faith in the Lord and we take comfort in knowing he is with Him now for eternity.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite nonprofit organization.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 4-6pm at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, followed by his memorial service at 6pm.
