Christina Dawn Hicks

Christina Dawn Hicks - age 54 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday morning, July 17, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born February 11, 1967 in Rush County, Indiana. Christina was employed with Covenant Health in Knoxville. She loved music and played flute in the Fairborn High School Marching Band and Orchestra in Fairborn, Ohio. Christina was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Hicks; her father, Larry Jackson and her brother-in-law, Danny Hicks. She is survived by her son, Shawn Robert of Dayton, OH; mother and step-father, Carolyn Jackson-Zahniser and John Zahniser of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Christopher and Vicki Jackson, Bryan and Amy Jackson all of Eaton, OH. Funeral services and interment will be in Fairborn, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Association, Work Loving God, Inc. 951 Ravenwood Drive, Morristown, TN 37814 or donate blood to Medic in Christina’s memory. A Visitation for family and friends will be at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 East Main Street in Fairborn, OH on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 12pm to 2pm with a Funeral Service at 2pm.
