Betty Lee Lowrie-Domineck age 80, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Friends Care Center in Yellow Springs with her loving family by her side. Betty was employed as a hairdresser for many years in Fairborn and Beavercreek communities. Later she graduated with honors from the Miami Jacobs College with a degree in accounting. In her younger years she was a member of the Rainbow Girls. Betty was an avid NASCAR fan enjoyed crocheting, but what meant most to her was her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Irene Porter, brother Harold Porter, sister Arlene Hansen, former husbands Dell Lowrie and Richard Domineck, granddaughter Amber Lowrie, and son-in-law Jerry Cox. Betty is survived by her children: Teresa Cox, Karen(Tony)Lowrie Wilson, Mike(Angie)Lowrie, and Carl Lowrie, grandchildren: Jeremy(Cynthia)Cox, Jacob(Cassandra)Cox; Zach(Stacie)Lowrie, Micah Lowrie; Breanna Lowrie, Kalynn Lowrie, great-grandchildren: Hudson and Elleanor Cox; Aryel Lowrie; Walter Lowrie; and Bentley Hicks, nieces Hazel Fugate and Laura Hansen. Betty’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Friends Care Center for their care, comfort, and support that was given to their mother. Family will receive friends 9:30AM until time of service at 11:00AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the BURCHAM TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio; with Pastor Ken Majors officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
