Phyllis (Marcy) Schaffer, Apr 24, 1939 - Mar 6, 2014. Phyllis fought a brave battle against Leukemia but surrendered peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving daughters. Phyllis spent her childhood riding horses and performing song and dance. With her husband, Irvin Schaffer (deceased), raised 3 daughters and was active in Sacramento Water Ski Club, 4-H, and horse events. She was a compassionate RN, neonatal and labor-delivery, for over 28 years. Her daughters, Marcy (Raul) Egot of Auburn, Becky (Tim) Hayes, of Carmichael and Jeannie (Lance) Bullock of San Jose, are as proud of their Mom as she of them. She was an active and loving Grandma to Brandon, Blake, Ryan, Tyler, Jeremy, Ryder, and Jacey. We will miss her smile, generosity, and caring demeanor.
