Joseph Charles Venziano

Joseph was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 20, 1932, to Nick and Antoinette Venziano. Five years later, his younger sister, Francis completed their family.

As a child, he enjoyed fishing and causing mischief with his friends. He joined the Air Force in his 20s. He was tenaciously outgoing and loved nothing more than being in the company of his family throughout his life.

He met his true love, Ann Harrer, in Chicago, Illinois, at his place of work where his story was she chased him around until he asked her out. They were married on February 7, 1959 and welcomed four daughters: MaryAnn in 1960, Donna in 1961, Catherine in 1966 and Victoria in 1977. Their life together brought many changes including relocating to Memphis, Tennessee to open a Dunkin Donuts. Joseph got into the frozen food industry and relocated his family to Sacramento, California and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Joseph and Ann happily retired in 1999 to Roseville, California, with hopes of taking an Alaskan cruise and watching their grandchildren grow together. They celebrated 41 years of marriage prior to Ann’s death in 2000.

After Ann’s passing he found companionship again with Paulene Couture. She was his loyal and loving friend until passing in 2019.

Joseph leaves a loving family who will deeply miss his fun spirit and sense of humor. He is survived by his sister Francis (Jim), daughters MaryAnn (Randy), Catherine (Brian) and Victoria (Mark), grandchildren Brian and Annabelle Willhite, Katelynn and Emily Murphy and Hailey and Ethan Ansay, great granddaughter Harper Willhite, nieces Karen (Skip) and Linda Guertler. He was preceded in death by his parents Nick and Antoinette Venziano, true love and wife Ann Venziano, daughter Donna Venziano, granddaughter Jessica Willhite and loving partner Paulene Couture.
