-Tupac
Whether it was Hannah Montana’s “Nobody’s Perfect” or his father’s hearty, contagious cackle, Jordan was known for perfectly capturing and imitating his subjects. His piercing eyes missed nothing. Without formal training, his free hand portrait pencil drawings were profound.
Charging straight ahead, Jordan couldn’t wait to make his debut into the world and did so in a quick 59 minutes on October 25, 1999, just ten months after his brother James. Dressed alike, people always thought they were twins. What Jordan didn’t think of, James did. What James didn’t think of, Jordan did.
Don’t let his lean stature fool you; Jordan had a hearty appetite. In fact, he ate so much his older brother Marco was convinced the small boy had a tapeworm. Jordan was also fearless with a high pain tolerance. All the calories must have gone into the energy it took him to bounce off the walls… No figure of speech!
Big “little” sister Janae was Jordan’s self-appointed second mom. She could be found keeping James, Jordan, and baby brother Josiah in line, while Jordan was busy creating his own language and handing out nicknames. He affectionately called his mama “Bombadabinka.”
Jordan was a natural-born athlete. He was an aggressive basketball player, always stealing the ball. He was also the fastest player on the football field, scoring touchdown after touchdown..
Jordan was preceded in death by James Simmons (maternal great grandfather), Juanita “Bobbie” Simmons (maternal great grandmother), Elba Drummer (paternal grandfather), Gaynell Drummer (paternal grandmother), and his favorite cousin Anthony Turby.
On May 10, 2022 when Jordan left this earth for the heavens, he left a hole in the hearts of his mother Shara Gabaldon (spouse Ax Diesel), his father Roosevelt Drummer (spouse Kimberly Peters), Roosevelt Jr. (brother), LaTasha Jefferson-Paige (sister), Marco Drummer (brother), Janae Monique (sister), James Drummer (brother), Samuel Anderson (brother), Josiah Drummer (brother), Maleah Amor (sister), adoring grandparents Henry “Gramps” Gabaldon and Barbara “Nana” Gabaldon, Cathy “Cak” Harnish (auntie), and his treasured niece Amira Sample. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Jordan will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. A reception will follow at 105 Noshery, 105 Vernon Street Roseville, CA 95678
