Jack was born in Green Co. Missouri to Paul Edward Claypool and Wanda Mae Sewell on August 5, 1938. At a young age their family moved to the State of Washington.
Jack grew up in Kelso, Washington with his two older siblings his brother Frank and his sister Rosemary (deceased)
Jack married his beautiful wife Barbara (Bobbie) A. (LaPeria) Claypool in 1963, Yreka California
He is a veteran, who served in The United States Army. After the military, Jack worked as a Senior Engineer for AT&T for 28 years, then went on to own a wholesale car dealership with his wife.

Jack is survived by his daughter Cherie Claypool - Lintinger (age 54), his son Michael Lee Claypool (age 53), his grandson Jonathan Michael Claypool (age 28) , grand-daughter Brianna Claypool (age 13), and great grandson Cash Michael Claypool (age 5 months)
Jack was a man of great honor. He was a stranger to no one, his smile light up the whole room when he walked in, he had the most caring and giving heart.
Jack is loved deeply, missed dearly, and will never be forgotten.
Jacks family will be laying him to rest at the Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary on July 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM
