Edna Jane Vincent

Edna (Peggy) was born September 21, 1924 in Pueblo, Colorado to Talbert and Elva Miller. She passed away peacefully on November 21, 2012 in Folsom, California. Peggy made her choice to serve God in February, 1948 and served Him faithfully throughout the years.

Peggy graduated from John C. Fremont High School in June,1942 and on August 29th married the love of her life, Chuck (Slim), at the “Little Church of the Flowers Chapel” in Glendale, CA. They were married over 60 years until his passing in April, 2005. Peggy and Chuck had four children, Ronald, Steven, Judith and Janet.

Peggy loved being a mother and homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and home projects. She loved her family, friends and life in God’s fellowship.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Mildred, beloved son Ronald and his wife Melanie, and granddaughter Emily. She is survived by her sister, Gertrude Robinson, son Steven and wife Pat Vincent, Judy and husband CJ Hampton, Janet and husband George Sandera, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation will take place on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 from 4-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:30am. Both services will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln. Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
