Arie Mae Hollins passed away March 23rd at Prairie Manor nursing home in Chicago Heights. She was born in Delhi, Louisiana on November 23, 1930. Daughter of Julia Strouder and Thomas Beamon. She was married to Thomas Hollins in August of 1953. She loved doing arts and craft work, she especially loved stringing beads for her nieces. She gave them lots of necklaces and bracelet every chance she got. At a young age she joined Cloudy Creek Baptist Church Delhi, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Hollins, her sister Velma Martin and her two brothers Willard and Wilbert Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers Alfred (Christine) Scott of Spokane WA, Robert Scott of Park Forest. Nieces Kim (Charles) Johnson of Blue Island, Debbie Sledge of Calumet Park, and Tinesha (Brian) Grant of Calumet Park. Nephews Craig (Beatrice) Martin of New Jersey, and Thurston Martin of Chicago. Brother-in-Law Robert Martin of Calumet Park. Special Grand-Nieces Alea Johnson, Azia Johnson, Aniyah Johnson and a host of friends and relatives.
A visitation will be held March 30th at Kenny Brothers Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on March 30th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Lincoln Cemetery.
