Patricia Louise Zenk was born June 22, 1945 in Bremerton Washington, she was the only child of Richard and Marie Condo. She was raised in Seattle, Washington and graduated from Chief Sealth High School. She was the proud mother of three sons; Barry, Lowell and Michael and sacrificed much to raise her boys. She and her family enjoyed camping, UW Huskies, Pittsburgh Steelers football games and traveling. When she became a grandma she found much joy in spoiling Ashton, Marshall and Collin. She was devoted to her career at the "Transplant House" which was a non-profit organization where critically ill people could recover from or stay during pre or post op organ transplant.
Many were impressed by the courage and grace she showed in the face of her medical challenges. Patricia spent little time focusing on her set backs and instead showed general concern for those around her. She passed on November 7, 2019 surrounded by family in Seattle, Washington.
She is predeceased by her parents, and very recently her beloved son Michael. She is survived by Barry Zenk-van Zyl (Francois), Lowell Zenk (Kathy) and her beloved grandchildren.
The family is forever grateful for the care given by Dr. John K. Amory and the entire University of Washington Medical Team for their compassionate care of their mother since her transplant in August 1997. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Transplant House in Seattle, Washington.
