She was born May 1st, 1965 to George W. and Dorothy Sue McBee in Wichita Kansas.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, George W. McBee and is survived by her Mother and three siblings; sisters, Debbie Christopher, Mindy Jackson and her brother Ed McBee as well as many adoring nieces and nephews.
At the age of 5, Michelle moved with the rest of her family from Kansas where they settled in Mukilteo Washington. Michelle loved music, writing and poetry. After graduating from Mariner High School in 1983 she went on to Washington State University where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design.
Michelle moved to Kodiak Alaska where she lived and worked for over 25 years eventually becoming an owner of “Alaska Hydraulics.” The company, based in Anchorage and Kodiak is one of the largest suppliers of hydraulic equipment used in the Alaskan fishing industry. She loved Alaska and the people who are drawn to that land.
Michelle was always happiest when those around her were laughing, so please remember her with a smile. We will always miss our sister, daughter, and friend but we rest easier knowing that she lived her life to the fullest.
