BC was always willing to give of himself. He could & would make you laugh every time he was around.  His positive attitude and laughter were such a joy & he had a zest for life not many people can claim.  A wonderful husband, father and friend. We will miss him dearly, but I know we will all be together again when our gracious Lord calls us home. Until then....We love you, Bro!!!!

Ode to my friend,  BC
When first I met BC, a very long time ago
I didn’t know what to think, his only speed was GO
His zest for life was vast, his energy was high
His love of life and friends, was enough to get him by
His wife, his boys, their friends, had a special way
Of keeping BC happy, each and every day
He had 2 dogs you know, wieners with a tail
He would play on the floor with them, daily without fail
All three would be there on the floor, barking at the moon
Until they all were tired, but it would start again real soon
I went to see BC one day, he was out in his shop
We hadn’t talked for a while, so thought I ought to stop
Upon the ceiling I did spy, a most wonderful toy
The kind I always wanted, since I was just a boy
A large homemade airplane, all aluminum and fun
Made by an uncle some time ago, for his brothers son
He gave to me this airplane, and had a smile on his face
He knew it had found a home, a more honored place
It now flies in my backyard, on a post so proud and tall
The wind spins its propeller fast, a site for one and all
It reminds me of my good friend, who left before his time
I must stop this ode for now, as I’ve run out of rhyme


Eddie and I were cousins.  We lived just down the street from each other. I remember going to his house especially in the summers and hanging out. It was a good time to be near family and share time together.  
We will miss you, Eddie.  Hug our loved ones that are no longer here.  Love you.

Sending prayers, hugs and love to all of Eddie's family.  Always looked forward to their family trips to Burr Oak almost every summer.  They would spend time with my great-grandma and my grandma and everyone enjoyed their visits.  Then the kids would get involved in school things and jobs, and never have enough time. Then we slowly lost our older loved ones, I still miss Aunt Stella to this day. Now we are the older ones and have drifted so far apart. Fly High Eddie! Deepest Sympathy to your family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. Just living down the street we spent many hours together growing up. Last time I saw him he was so happy when he told me of Debie, and his hunting trips, and his job. Wish I had one more chance to talk with him. Again so sorry.

My dearest Brother, I thought for sure you were going to beat this, but God had other plans, so many memories from our childhood keep playing in my mind, you were a Star that shone so bright, For those that didn't know you, they missed out, to those that did it was a bonus, I will never forget last year when you came home to Dad's memorial, the fun time we had together taking care of business at Terry's. The laughter, the hugs and talking about old memories. God had all that planned just for us to be together one last time. For this I will be Grateful for. I Love you and give Mom and Dad a hug and kiss for me, we will all be there soon, completing the family circle. 

There are people in this world that make you better for having known them. BC is one of those very special people. He was always such a blessing to be around and I am very grateful and honored that I am able to call him a friend. He has left a giant space in the world where his laughter would fill. He has left the best gift of all through his Love for his beautiful wife and his family and his friends.  Travel well my friend as you go to the great hunting ground in the sky.  We will see you on the other side when our time comes and the Lord calls our name.    With you always. Love, d
