Kate Morris passed away April 5th 2022 at the age of 83 in her home in Everett, Washington with the company of her loving family by her side.
Kate was born on March 25th 1939 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Earl and Virginia Cronk being the only girl of seven children, much to Kate’s dismay. She graduated High School at St. Mary’s in Wichita, Kansas.
Later she moved to Seattle, Washington in 1969 where she found work with Anica for several years before finding work in the funeral service industry where she retired with 37 years of service under her belt.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her friends and family with family being her top priority. Kate loved to travel and enjoy new adventures including trips across the United States and Europe. She found joy in her multiple cruising adventures across the oceans and rivers of the world. When not engaging in many travels, she could be found enjoying a good game of bingo. A life-long animal lover, she also found happiness in many beloved pets over the years.
Kate was preceded in death by husband, Ray Morris; parents, Earl and Virginia Cronk; brothers, Ernie and Steve Cronk, daughter, Marcia Sisk; and son, Michael Sisk.
She is survived by her best friend and sister-in-law, Jeanne Morris; daughter, Theresa and her husband Todd Cocking; son, Lance and his wife, Jessica Pearson; grandchildren, Alyssa and Titus Austin, Jordan and Nicole Sisk, Megan and Matt Trabun, Kiona and Chad Gallup and Christopher Cocking. Her great-grandchildren include Lillyann and Christina Gallup, Issac and Kieran Sisk and Ari Austin.
Her passing has left a significant hole in the lives she touched along her great journey of life. Kate will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
A celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday, April 23rd 2022 from 2pm-4pm at Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett, Washington.
