Although David lived with us in Washington the past two-and-a-half years due to the pandemic, he called Ban Pong, Thailand home. He resided there with Worawat (Wat) his partner of twenty-two years. He leaves behind a large family of in-laws and many dear friends.
David was known for his gentle patient spirit, enormous heart, and his listening ear. His brilliant mind retained information he could recall at will without hesitation. David genuinely loved people whether they sat on a throne or were homeless on the street. He had an innate gift to make others feel as if they were the only important person in the room when he listened to them. He loved “gifting wars” and always brought a smile to everyone’s face. David loved art and traveling, and he was adept at learning foreign languages and music.
David was an honorably discharged Army Veteran who proudly served his country.
