William Arther Worman, Sr.

William "Bill" Arther Worman Sr., age 91, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. William was born in Gibson County to the late Claude Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth (Thacker) Worman. He was a Sergeant in the Army and a proud member of IBEW Local 16 until retirement in 1993. Bill and his beloved wife Mary enjoyed many years of living on Barkley Lake and exploring the U.S. in their RV. Bill attended St. James West United Methodist Church. He found immense joy in his grandkids and especially all the pictures they shared with him. Bill is survived by his sons, William (Sandra Kay) Worman, Jr. and John Worman; daughter, Kathy (Tim) Bell; granddaughters, Tasha Worman, Sarah Bell and Lindsey (James) Paten; grandsons, John (Katie) Worman, Cory (Stephanie) Worman and Dustin (Sharity) Worman, Brian (Amanda) Bell and Lee (Adrian) Bouchie; and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary Katherine Worman; and several siblings. Friends and family may gather for a visitation on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN.
