Thomas Sharkey

Thomas William Sharkey, 62, of Elberfeld, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born September 29, 1955 in Evansville. He was a graduate of North High School, IVY Tech and University of Evansville. Thomas retired from the US Air Force as a Mechanical Engineer and aircraft maintenance specialist. He was a MOPAR enthusiast, enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons, playing billiards, landscaping, and flying model airplanes. Thomas is survived by his parents Thomas R. and Sue Sharkey of Evansville; sister Kathy Sharkey Whitaker (Richard) of Chandler, and brother, Mike Sharkey of Indianapolis. Military Honors will be 1:00PM, Monday, September 17, 2018 at New Albany National Cemetery, 1943 Ekin Ave., New Albany, IN 47150.
