Terri Lynn Montgomery

Terri Lynn Montgomery, 58, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born February 15, 1958, in Evansville, IN to the late Neil and JoAnn (Snyder) Staples.

She graduated from Reitz High School in 1976 and was employed by the city of Evansville. She worked most recently at Vectren. Terri was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time at Riding Hope and Challenger League Baseball games. She loved to cook, was an avid Cardinals fan, and was the world’s greatest grandmother.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and JoAnn (Snyder) Staples.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gary Montgomery; children, Michael and Katie Montgomery; grandchildren, Alex Payne and Amber Montgomery; siblings, Diana (Henry) Hamilton, Gene (Tami) Staples, LaDonna (Brian) Nation and John (Kim) Staples; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at University Heights Baptist Church, 8800 Middle Mt. Vernon Rd., Evansville, IN 47712. Friends may visit Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
