Steven Dubois Stocker

Steven Dubois Stocker, 75, retired Captain of the Evansville Fire Department passed away on June 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Sue (Brinkley) Stocker and Albert C. Stocker, and sister, Debbie. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy (Moll) Stocker; three children, Doug and his wife, Jennifer and their two children, Sophia and Nathan, Stephanie Elms and her son, Jessie Elms, and Joe and his wife, Mindy and their daughter, Stella; one brother; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. Steve was enthusiastic about life. He loved family and friends, flying and flea markets, hunting and history, patriotic events and of course collecting. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Steve is absent from the body but present with the Lord Jesus. A memorial going home celebration will be held at Alexander West Chapel on July 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM and officiated by Pastor David Niednagel. Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service. Evansville Firefighters Honor Guard Local 357 will present funeral rites. Memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life or Samaritan’s Purse.
