She was a cosmetologist.
Shannon was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Anthony Bender; and brother-in-law, Wayne Collins.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Collins; children, Dustin Johnson, Dalton Collins, and Sadi Collins; sisters, Angela Bender and Shawlon Cronin (Chris); brother-in-law, Steven Collins; sister-in-law, Raquel; nieces and nephews, Devin Johnson, Gavin Pounds, Jade Pounds, Jeremy Pounds (Kristi), and Noah Pounds; stepfather, Melvin Effinger; mother-in-law, Sharon Collins; and her beloved dogs, Jax, Bourbon, and Riley.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel. Burial will follow at Bender Cemetery in Gentryville. Friends may visit on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
