Ronald Lee Rohner, 67, passed away at his home on Friday, June 9th, 2023. He was under the care of hospice for cancer and walked in faith during this battle.
Ron retired from the Evansville Fire Department after 33 years of service. He enjoyed going to sporting events, grilling at family events, and horse racing. He was an active member of Grace Baptist Church where he was an usher and taught Sunday School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Loraine Rohner and daughter, Amanda (Rohner) Carnahan-Kuester.
Ron is survived by his wife, Cathy (Will) Rohner and sister, Susan Rohner; grandchildren, Christopher and Kenzee Carnahan; Step-daughters, Danielle Davis (Justin), Dee Ozechowski (Matt), and Dande Osborne (Coby); grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brayden Davis; Chloe, Clara, Collin, and Callie Osborne.
At Ron’s request, a private graveside service will be held for the family and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date at Grace Baptist Church.
