Ronald Dersch

Ronald E. Dersch, 72, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on February 21, 2023. He was born on March 31, 1950 in Evansville, Indiana. Ron graduated from North High School. He worked as an auto mechanic. His love for cars never stopped. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon K. (Basham) Dersch. Ron is survived by his son, Glen McCarthy (Margaret); daughter, Angela Schmitt (Rodney); three grandchildren, Jaycee McCarthy, Hayley Phillips (Jake) and Allison Borst; and his brother, Gary Dersch. The family would like to thank Charlie Davis for taking care of their dad, running numerous errands, and helping their dad with the house and anything else their dad asked him to do. The family would also like to thank Israel White for caring for the yard. The immediate family is invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1925 Volkman Road, Evansville IN, 47725. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer, and military honors will be performed. The family would like to invite attendees to the Darmstadt Inn following the interment to share memories and fellowship.
