He owned and operated Hardy Brake and Electric and was a member of Masonic Lodge #64 and Hadi Shrine. Bob was an avid NASCAR racing fan and loved to cook. He was well known for his BBQ and his generosity of cooking for others.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, who he married in 1965, Sandra (Hardy) Kerney; sons, Mark Robert Kerney (Adrienne) and Kevin Scott Kerney of Evansville; grandchildren, Hayden Elle Kerney and Ryan Nicole Kerney of Evansville, and Carter David Kerney and Tripp Greyson Kerney of Indianapolis; brothers, Jack D. Kerney and Keith Kerney (Debbie) of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
