Robert E. Blair, 65, of Evansville, passed away Friday, October 08, 2010, at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. He was born September 30, 1945, in Evansville. Robert attended Bible Center Cathedral. He had worked in maintenance at several businesses. Robert is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda Blair; daughter, Tina O’Neil (Chad Bell) of Evansville; son, Robert Blair, Jr. (Julie) of Evansville; daughter, Tonya Blair (Herman Sapata) of Chicago, IL; daughter, Cynthia Blair (Rob Greenwell) of Princeton; stepdaughter, Brenda Deer of St. Phillips; stepson, Billy Merritt of Evansville; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles “Sonny” Blair of Blairsville; sister, Ruth Jewell (Don); and Sister, Janet Shepherd (Bruce) of Evansville; and nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Rick Van Hoose with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
