Pansy Devers Bridwell, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born on October 11, 1936 in Mount Carmel, Illinois to the late Walter and Agnes (Keppel) Campbell.
She owned and operated her own upholstery and drapery business in Evansville for many years. Pansy was a member of North Park Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Moose Club. She and her second husband, Glenn Bridwell owned racehorses that raced at Ellis Park. Pansy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing.
Pansy was preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Devers and her second husband, Glenn Bridwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelli Dempsey (Buck); son, Jeff Devers; daughter, Traci Bowman (Mark); son, Joe Devers (Angie); grandchildren, Zach, Melisa, Ashley, Diana, William, and Katelyn; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Campbell; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance with Rev. Art Christmas officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance.
