Morris had worked at Servel and National Furniture for several years. After National Furniture closed, he began buying rental properties. He loved race horses and had owned Green River Stable. Green River Stable was leading owner for two consecutive years in 1996 to 1997 at Ellis Park. In 2004 he bred the three year old “Filly of the Year” in Indiana named Speedy Tiffany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue; and brother, Ernie Duncan.
Morris is survived by his son, Steve Duncan of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Steve Duncan, Jr., Drake Duncan, and Tiffany Duncan; great grandchildren and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
