Mary Margaret was a dear friend to me. We met at Harrison High School our sophomore year. She was really smiley and bubbly and a really sweet friend. We had a commonality with a friend that was deaf. This is where the sign language comes into play. One summer 4 or 5 girls decided to take sign language classes. Unlike myself,Mary Margaret continued with sign language and use it in her everyday life. She touched many people in many ways with her sign language. I am so grateful to Mary Margaret . A few years ago when my father-in-law died, she came to the funeral home. It was the first time I had seen her in a long time.  She was a blessing to me and my husband and his family. I knew that she had lived in Newburgh and we began to correspond again. She was there for my family and with my family at fuctions, she was almost like my sister. Then last year in 2019 I had hip replacement surgery. I asked Mary Margaret before my surgery if she thought she might be able to help me during my recovery period. And the days when my family wasn't home. She did. She was a great friend that's all I can really say is that she was a great friend. She loved to cook for the family ,she put lotion on my feet ,she played the piano and sang ,tucked me in like a baby at night when she would leave for the night.  She helped with grocery shopping and loved going to Costco!These memories I will have forever and I am so grateful that God put her in my life. And I am so sad that she is passed on. I know she is celebrating with Jesus in heaven and it's something that she lived her whole life to achieve and I believe someday she may be declared a saint she's a saint in my heart.

I'm so very happy for Mary Margaret!  A  bittersweet flavor is swirling around those that truly knew her. There was only one Mary Margaret...

a love that only Yeshua Jesus could bring out of a yielded vessel. She always
chose to forgive me no matter what, and quickly at that! She walked with
Yeshua Messiah Jesus in a deeper peculiar way that we are just starting to
understand  ====  somewhat slightly just now! There's too much in me about Mary Margaret that I can't even begin to explain, or share ...

Mary Margaret was my aunt.  I have known her for 30 years.  she was a vary patient and loving Godly woman who I will miss greatly.  she did sign language at my wedding and loved all of my children who will miss her very much.   I have many great memories of her. 

I love you Mary Margaret.  You were truly an example  of one who truly lived out her christian values.  You always expressed your deep  love  for all.  You were my friend and I am so sorry I lost contact with you.  Although you are gone from this world, and will truly be missed by all, I know you are now with the lover of your soul Jesus.  I will see you again.

News of Mary’s passing has come as
a shock to our family. We were just
recently talking on the phone. Mary
played her piano and sang one of her
favorite hymns. She mailed a gift and
card to us, and I was going to call her
today when Martha called with the news
of her passing. Mary loved God deeply.
She loved to share her love for Jesus. She
loved people. She loved Life! I learned a lot
from Mary. She had such a great mind for
memorizing Scriptures. She loved sharing through 
sign language, she had a burden for those without
hearing. She shared the Bible with all she met. Mary will be greatly missed.

Hi! I am Mary's cousin, My mom Catherine Weatherford ( deceased) is a sister to Mary's dad Mike.  My memory of Mary is that she was always cheerful and positive.  I have maybe 5 times in my life have ever spent time with her, because of living in different areas. But I will always remember one time that stands out. It was a week before my mom passed away. I had not heard from Mary in many many years, but she just showed up in our town and went to visit mom in the nursing home on a day that I was visiting mom. And we 3 had a very nice day spent singing relgious songs including   moms favorite " Amazing Grace"  had lunch together and catching up on everyone's lifes. It was just one day and than she went back home. I always thought it was such a miracle because mom was doing well and we had no idea she was going to pass away a week later. But that day my mom was so happy, it cheered her up so much to sing and here about all her relatives. I will always thank Mary for such a wonderful gift she gave mom. Mary will greatly be missed.

She is my cousin and while I did not know her well I have fond memories of our  times at family reunions.  Her dad and my mom (Catherine) were sisters, while they lived our families kept in touch over the years.  I will miss her greatly! 

Melba Weatherford

We are so grateful to have known her and to have been blessed by her kindness.  She was a blessing to so many.  She was a true servant of Christ.  When she talked about Him, her face would light up.   Guillermo's mom was deeply touched by her messages.  May God welcome her into His open arms.

We knew Mary Margaret as a young girl when we lived next door to her family on Dexter Avenue.  She was always such a kind, caring and very sweet young lady.  Our condolences to her siblings who were always such great kids.  We were young newlyweds and her parents, Mike and Dorothy always helped and gave us good advice while we were neighbors.  

.......Mary Margaret had a beautiful voice...I can hear  her singing, “I Come To The Garden Alone,”....She sang this song at my brother-in-laws memorial service.  I can imagine them walking in the gardens of heaven today.  I so appreciate the photo of  Mary Margaret...as she wore that smile each time I saw her.
.........Such as special person....you will be greatly missed Mary Margaret.  Thank you for helping my sister Marie...and being a  real friend to her....always available to help in time of need.

I knew Mary Margaret through our involvement with Kings Fire Ekklesia Ministry there in Evansville.  She was always a quiet humble person ever eager to help in anyway she could.  When she knew of a prayer need, she didn't just "pray a pretty prayer" but with the authority of one who knew her place in Yeshua she would take hold of the horns of the altar of intercession and boldly bombard Heaven.  While we never had extensive conversations, I always knew Mary Margaret cared for me and my wife as well as the whole group.  Her sincere presence will be missed. 
May Holy Spirit comfort you all in this brief separation.
