She graduated from Harrison High School in 1976 and obtained a Bachelor of Ministry degree from Shalom Bible College. She enjoyed photography, music and working outside on her flowers. She taught herself how to play a variety of musical instruments. She enjoyed cooking meals for others and was always willing to help anyone.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy C. Thomson; and brother-in-law, Al Ives.
She is survived by her siblings, Martha K Freeman (Robert), Dennis Thomson (Sandra), Linda Ives, David Thomson (Colleen), Rhonda Nicely (Winfred), and John Thomson (Stacy); nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Pastor Tim Powers.
