Mary E. Bear

Mary E. Bear, 92, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. She was born on October 10, 1929 in Eichorn, Illinois. She graduated from Rosiclare High School in 1948 and was a graduate of Lockyear Business College. Mary worked as an Executive Secretary and retired from Bristol Myers Squibb. She attended Old North United Methodist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Turpen. She is survived by her husband, Herman Bear; daughter, Karen Schooler (Jim); grandchildren, Ginger Carnahan (Michael) and Kenny Turpen (Lauren); and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice and Linda White Hospice House for the care and compassion they showed Mary in her final days. No services will be held. Entombment will be at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
