Mackiee Sue Smith, 86, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Envive Health Care. She was born on July 30, 1938 in Russellville, KY to the late Radford and Gladys E. (Merriman) Brown.
Mackiee had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others. A hard worker, she enjoyed her job and formed strong friendships with her coworkers, especially Patty. She loved shopping, though she was more of a browser than a buyer and she was known to often sneak off for a hamburger at her favorite fast food places. Mackiee will be remembered for her kindness, work ethic, and her unwavering support for family and friends.
Mackiee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford “Smokey” L. Smith siblings, Sondra Marley, and Bruce Brown.
She is survived by her nephew, Chris (Terry) Marley; niece, Paige Canney; great-nieces, Tosh Canney and Whitney Marley; great-nephew, Adam Canney; brother-in-law, Mike Marley; and many other dear family members.
Per Mackiee’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services held.
