Lois Maxine Collins

Lois M. Collins, 88, of Evansville, IN passed away on May 26, 2022 at Linda White Hospice. She was born on February 2, 1934 to the late Charles and Emma Doninger.
Lois was a naturally gifted singer, musician, cook, and seamstress. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Shannon School of Dance, EyeMart, and several retail stores over the years. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Michael) Ziliak, Brent Collins, Kevin Collins; grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Jerrod (Natalie), Heather (Jeremy), Paige, Randy (Jennifer), and Penny, Richard; great grandchildren, Miranda, Madalyn, Presley, Addison, Beau, Cali, Jackson, Daniel, Arionna, Adyn, and Avery; and brother, Ronald Doninger.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 31, years Jerry Leroy Collins; son, Randy Collins.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Keith Biddle with burial to follow in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
