Leonard A. Badger

Leonard A. Badger, 81, of Vincennes, IN, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 10, 2023. He was born November 27, 1941, in Cannelton, Indiana. Leonard was a boiler operator at Arkla, Deaconess Hospital and the State Hospital. He dearly loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandson. Leonard was proud to be a Christian. He also enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, baseball and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Diana K. (Blythe) Badger; parents, Russell and Dorothy Powers; daughter, Sherry Badger Clardy; sisters, Shirley Dillon and Connie Dillon; and brother, Charles S. Badger. Leonard is survived by his son, Scott L. Badger (Judy); daughter, Davie Sue; grandchildren, Krista Badger, Jacob Kroeger, David Paul Badger, Ashleigh Brock, Amanda Kay Albin, and Stacie Lynn Albin; 20 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson, Zayden; and sister, Judy Buckles (Larry). A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville IN. Friends may visit on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm CST at Alexander Funeral Home East, 2115 Lincoln Avenue in Evansville.
