Kris Alan Neidig, 70, of Evansville passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024. He was born November 17, 1954 in Evansville to the late William and Darlene Neidig.
He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandkids, and playing golf. He also loved to ride and take trips with family and friends on his Harley. He also loved the family camping trip to Lincoln City State Park. Kris was proud of his work as a machine repair technician at Mead Johnson for over 20 years, and loved to work on projects with his sons and pass on his skills and master craftsmanship. He and his wife, Cindy, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married November 9, 1974.
Kris is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Neidig; children, Craig Neidig (Trisha) and Eric Neidig (Kylie); grandchildren, Carson, Bennett, Lexa, Layla, and Gavin Neidig; siblings, Mark Neidig (Brenda), Brad Neidig, Greg Neidig (Debbie), and Gale Neidig (Amy); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Joe Neidig, with burial to follow in Centenary UMC Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2024 at the funeral home.
