Jeff was a professional brick mason for many years. He never met a stranger and was a kind hearted man who enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving Jeff are his children, Jennifer Mitchell, Alisha Mitchell and Dr. Jeffrey and his wife, Dr. Rachel Mitchell, his grandchildren, Justis, Allison, Kaytlin and Paige. Also surviving are his partner, Carolyn Kenney, his brother, Keith (Kathy) Mitchell, his sister, Carolyn (Gene) Tyring, and his beloved dog, Thumper.
Services will be 1:00PM, Monday, January 14, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dennis Davenport. Friends may visit, Monday from 11:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Vanderburgh Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
