On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, Jason S. Niehaus, 42, completed his life journey with family by his side. He was born in Evansville in December 12, 1972. Jason fought colon cancer for three years and never once gave up. He shall always be remembered for his loving heart and contagious personality.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate of ten years, Alyson (Stewart) Niehaus; son, Finnegan Samuel Niehaus; mother, Nina (Kenneth) Crofts Harnishfeger; sister, Christy (Brian) McCoy Antey; nephew, Devon Smith; sister, Candace Harnishfeger; step-brothers, Ken, Paul, and Robert Harnishfeger; step-sister, Kim Page; sisters, Katie and Leslie Niehaus of Louisiana; grandmother, Mary Crofts; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A reception to celebrate Jason’s life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel.
