Helen was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Women’s Guild. She enjoyed playing Clabber and loved spending time with her family and making cookies for her great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ollie of 22 years; three sisters, Marietta Polster, Agnes Sauer and Irma Maasberg; two brothers, Roland and Norman Polster; son, Tom Woodson; and daughter-in-law, Karen Woodson.
Helen is survived by son, John L. Woodson of Evansville; grandsons, Chad Woodson (Samantha Schaefer) of Evansville; David and Dennis Miller (Jodie) both of Elberfeld; four great grandchildren, Aidan and Ian Woodson and Logan Kemp (Kimber) and Bailey Kemp; great great grandchildren, Everett and Hudson Kemp; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 100 E. Michigan Street, officiated by Rev. Chad Eckels, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
