Francis "Buddy" E. Kneer

Buddy never met a stranger, and had a pure heart. He had a happy-go-lucky personality. Buddy loved long walks, dancing, joking and making people laugh. He loved every opportunity to get together with his family, especially on holidays.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward F. Kneer; mother, Anna E. Kneer; and his nephew, James Dylan Kneer on March 6, 2018.

Buddy is survived by his brother, Terry Joe Kneer (Margaret “Boodle”); nieces, Lorrie Davis (Steve), Mia Macke (Dustin); nephew, Brian Kneer (Rita); great-nephews and great-nieces, Dylan, Austin, Shane, Cole, Hope, and Shyann; great-great nephew and great-great niece; Branson and Aurora.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
