Emma Hulda Geiser, 93, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Oasis Dementia Care. She was born January 8, 1924, in Evansville, to the late Herman H. and Anna Marie (Schroeder) Hartig.
She was a sewing instructor for the Vanderburgh School Corp., as well as a school bus driver. She was extremely crafty and excelled at whatever she made.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Geiser; son, Bob Geiser; grandson, Brent Geiser; and siblings, Alvina Burgess, Herb Hartig, Oscar Hartig, Julius Hartig and Maggie Powelson.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Donna) Geiser; grandchildren, Robert Geiser, Monica Geiser, Jeana Arwine, Charlie Geiser, and Charles “Skip” Geiser; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services w 1:00 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gary Brunson, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends visited Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the cemetery chapel.
