He graduated from Reitz High School in 1949, was a lifetime member at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He was a Master Fisherman, avid fan of FJ Reitz football and University of Evansville basketball. He worked for George Koch and Sons as a Sheet Metal Journeyman for 44 years.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Albin; parents, Arval and Ollie Albin; brother, Charles Albin ( Maryann); sister, Wilma Rae Davis (Art); brother Anthony Wheeler (Sandy); niece, Sally Mayse Bennett; nephew, Anthony Wheeler Jr.
He is survived by his son, David Albin (Teri); daughters, Debbie Albin, Delanie Stratman (Chris); grandchildren, Allie Brown (Jacob), Lexi, Ian, and Alex Albin; brother-in-law, Paul Mayse (Sherrill); great granddaughter, Annabelle Brown; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the funeral home.
