Daniel Slicker

Daniel “Dan” Slicker, 64, of Evansville, IN, passed away December 24, 2017 at his home. He was born February 15, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Wilbur G. Slicker and Lorraine Nischke Slicker. Dan was an engineer and had worked in manufacturing for several different companies. He recently spent his retirement working at Evansville Country Club. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Dan enjoyed bowling and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. He is survived by his wife, Doris Slicker; sisters, Sue Van Stone (Gene), Jan Martin; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 29, 2017, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance, officiated by Rev. Cliff Herring. Friends may visit from noon until service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
