Cristy Childs

Cristy Childs, 43, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019, at her home. She was born in Evansville, IN on March 24, 1976. Cristy enjoyed making bracelets, coloring and gardening. She was a leader and an animal lover. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oscar and Helen Zenthofer and Barry and Dorothea Childs. Cristy is survived by her son, Christopher, 20, her daughter, Marissa, 12; parents, Martha Leonard, Poppy Mike Leonard, and Poppy Thomas Childs; mother-in-law, Kate Claspell and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Dedra Davis, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her children.
