Charles Wayne Bowman

Charles Wayne Bowman passed away, after a brief battle with cancer, on June 27, 2022 at the age of 74. He was born on September 12, 1947 in Princeton, Indiana. Charles spent most of his life in Evansville however he lived in Daytona Beach, Florida for a while. He graduated from North High School and worked as a mechanic for most of his adulthood. He was actively involved in dirt stock car racing. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerald and mother, Pauline Bowman; brother, Jerald; sister, Lois Hart and a grandson, Leith Bowman. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; daughters, Vicki (John), Brandy; son, Keith (Dawn); grandchildren, Shree, Amanda, John, Taz, Brett, Charles, Ty, Zachary, Christina, and Nathan; great-granddaughter, Aleena; brothers, Eddie and John; sister Deanna Bright, and many other loved ones. The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice home care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
