Catherine Marie Rauch

Catherine graduated from Enfield High School in 1951. Early in her career she spent 15 years as a Typing Supervisor at United Technologies in Hartford, CT, where she had a special security clearance to work on the NASA Space Program. She also worked at Roger’s Hair Design, where she was a Hair Stylist and a Salon Manager. Later in her career she spent over 10 years as a Teacher’s Assistant, working with handicapped students at Bayonet Middle School in Bayonet Point, FL.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Rauch; mother, Mary Anna Frigon;

father, Joseph P. Hayden Sr.; and brother, Joseph Hayden Jr.

Catherine is survived by her brothers, Richie Hayden of Largo, FL, Eddie Hayden of Enfield, CT, and Roger Hayden (Mary) of Evansville, IN; her children, Michael Broughal (Marcela) of Ada, MI, Gary Broughal of Enfield, CT, and Gail Estes of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Brennen and Jared Estes, and Alec and Megan Broughal.

The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice and North River Health Campus for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

There will be a private, Celebration of Life gathering Saturday, January 15, 2022 for immediate family members.
