Alyssa Michelle Moorhead, 20, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 19, 1995, in Evansville, to Charles D. and Lynda S. (Gunn) Moorhead.
She was currently a student of Bosse High School and had formerly attended Daniel Wertz, Highland, Perry Heights, and Glenwood. Alyssa loved being around her family, school, and riding the bus. She was blessed with excellent teachers and caregivers. Her family would like to thank all of them, as well as Kathy Burkstedt. Alyssa was full of love, joy and happiness; her parents were privileged to have her.
Alyssa is survived by her parents, Lynda and Charles; sister, Jennifer Moorhead; nieces, Madasyn Jane Myers and Jessie Rae Greenwell; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and grandmothers, Norma Moorhead and Darlene Gunn.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2015, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Karl Crowe, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
