Estes Park resident and businessman, Tim Kuster died at home Tuesday afternoon May 21, 2019. He was 62 years old. Timothy Allan Kuster was born August 22, 1956 in Davenport, IA. His parents were William and Gladys (Delesha) Kuster. He graduated from Durant, IA High School in 1974. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Ambrosia University in Davenport. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On May 17, 1980 he married Mary Gould in Davenport. They later divorced and Tim married Heidi Holmquist in Estes Park on June 9, 1990. The couple lived in Estes Park where he owned and operated Nails ‘N Pails Home Improvements. He specialized in radon mitigation and home inspections. Later, he fulfilled a life-long dream and became an over the road trucker. After retiring from that career, Tim and Heidi owned and operated Dad’s Laundry in Upper Stanley Village. Tim is survived by his wife Heidi of Estes Park, son Sam Kuster and his wife Demi (Andrews) of Casper, WY, and daughter Emily Kuster and spouse Kasey Keller of Bettendorf, IA, brothers William(Shirley) of Yorktown, VA, Mike (Carol) of Aurora, CO, Tom (Vicky) of Madrid, IA and Alan of Illinois, sisters Patty Ann (Charlie) Foor of Muscatine, IA, Mary (Dennis) LaVoie of Lancaster, KY, and Theresa Kuster of Durant, IA; grandson Michael Keller of Bettendorf, IA. He is also survived by his father in law Jack Holmquist of Estes Park his sisters in law Suzi Sperry (Max) of Phoenix, AZ and Carrie West (Mike) of Pueblo West, CO. Tim is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a younger brother John, mother in law Carolyn Holmquist and sister in law Mollie Holmquist. At Tim’s request, no public service will be held. His cremated remains will be placed at various meaningful places including the family plot in Estes Valley Memorial Gardens.
