Ralph Villalobos was born November 1, 1932 in Orange California to Pablo and Desideria Villalobos. He was the second oldest of 11 sons, Gabriel, Mike (deceased), Paul, Ernesto, Louie, Dennis, Roy, John, David and Albert and 4 daughters, Lupe, Mary, Rachel and Rebecca. Ralph moved to Escondido California with his family shortly after his birth. He lived in Escondido all his life.
Married to Almida Perez on May 16, 1953, they were married for 65 years. They had 7 children.

Ralph served in the United States Army from 1953-1955 and was stationed in Austria. After his military service he started work in the Civil Service for the United States Government at Camp Pendleton as a heavy equipment operator. He worked in the capacity for 39 years until his retirement.
Ralph and Almida were very involved in the Assembly of God Church throughout the years teaching Sunday school, Ralph served as a deacon and sang in the Choir. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16-17.
Ralph loved sports, was a standout basketball player and ran track for Escondido High School where he met the love of his life, Almida Perez. His love of sports continued all his life, he played church league softball and basketball, coached his sons in baseball, and as the years went on spent much of this time watching his grandchildren play football, baseball, soccer, and softball from preschool through college.
An avid fisherman, Ralph loved the annual fishing trips to Bishop with his brothers. Many summers were spent teaching his grandchildren how to fish on the family camping trips. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica for the family!
Ralph is survived by his Wife, six children and spouses, 20 grandchildren and spouses as well as 22 great grandchildren.
