Grace Delgado

Grace and her family moved their residence to the city of Escondido in 1962. They were one of the first families to start the Escondido Apostolic Church. Grace’s parents were one of the five founding members that purchased the church that still exists today on Escondido Blvd. In her upbringing, her parents Bro. Chilo and Sis. Laya embedded in her the love for Christ and their dedication in the Lord’s work. She was baptized at the age of 16. She served in the church as treasurer and secretary throughout the years.

Grace married Lorenzo Coronado in 1979 and were blessed with a beautiful daughter Denise, and years later with two grandchildren, Jessica and Christian. Lorenzo passed away in 1995 in a tragic car accident. In 2001, she was blessed by the Lord with a second marriage to Crisanto Delgado.

Grace enjoyed music and loved to sing songs to the Lord. Her favorite bible verse is found in Psalms 121. Grace loved sunflowers, all things vintage, cooking, baking and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she would listen to Christmas music all year long. Grace enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and going on international cruises with her husband.

On Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 3:25 P.M., Grace went to her Lord and Maker as she was surrounded by her husband, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
