David C. Escovedo Sr.  

David C. Escovedo Sr., resident of Escondido,CA was born on October 13, 1955 in Lompoc, CA. At age 64 he danced into heaven, on November 5, 2019. 

David served as Senior Pastor of Victory Outreach Escondido for 24 years. He left an imprint on the hearts of many as he dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Escovedo who he called “My Girl”. His children: David Escovedo Jr, Aundrea Lustig, and Isabell Medrano. Son-In-Laws, Elliott Lustig and Agner Medrano, and his grandchildren: Isaiah, David (Zoe), Andrue, Isaac, Elijah, Jonah, Jacob, Samuel, Deborah, Sarah, and Janelle, and great-grandson David Escovedo IIII. His brothers: Ricky Escovedo, Jamie Arambula George Arambula, Sisters: Loretta Escovedo Trudy (Arambula)Tanner, Louisa Arambula and Rosita (Arambula) Lofton, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
He also leaves behind the many spiritual sons and daughters in his congregation at Victory Outreach Escondido, who he loved with all his heart. 

David was greeted in heaven by his parents, Jimmy and Aurora Arambula, along with his brother Rudy Escovedo.

David’s greatest joy was to worship the Lord and he served God by serving others. He not only labored in the city of Escondido, but sent his best to begin works in the city of Vista, countries of Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. He had the biggest heart and loved many people into his family from around the globe. His legacy will continue through those many lives that he touched.
