MORROW, Richard Jay “Rick” 69 of Dayton, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, Saturday, October 1, 2016. Rick leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 42 years, Donna (Smith) Morrow, two sons and one daughter, Glenn and Ann Burton of Cincinnati, Kelly and Ray Shank of Dayton, Jerald Burton of Kentucky. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren Amber (Tim) Emmert, Courtney (Gabe) Bailey, Quentin Waitukaitis, Brooke Shank, Matt Burton, Ben Burton, Sam Burton, Amanda Burton, Chris Burton; 5 great-grandchildren Josie, Gwen, Alexander, Katherine, Arianna Bailey; three brothers John Morrow of PA, Tom (Stacy) Morrow of CA, Jeff (Karol) Morrow of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary (Sprinkle) Morrow. Rick was retired from the Fred J. Miller Inc. where he was a clothing cutter and had delivered the Dayton Daily News for 16 years. He was a 1965 graduate of Fairborn High School and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He loved animals and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. His family would like to extend a special Thank You to his family and friends that have offered support and love during his illness. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton – Xenia Road, Saturday, October 8, 2016 starting at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Rick’s life at 2:00 pm.
