Gwendolyn "Gwen" Blake

BLAKE, Gwendolyn Gale “Gwenie”, 55 of Dayton, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Gwendolyn is survived by two sons, Kevin and Kolin Anderson of Dayton; granddaughter Kiara; her father Robert E. Blake of Dayton; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Theresa Blake of Dayton, Deboria and Keith Harrison and Cynthia Blake all of Trotwood; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Karen Blake, Ronald and Barbara Ann Blake all of Trotwood, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (nee Talbott) Blake in 1962, and brother Roger L. Blake in 2011. She was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson Twp. High School, a member of the Berean Missionary Baptist Church, retired from the Dayton Art Institute, and a master crafter that enjoyed baking. There will be a Gathering of Friends at the BEREAN MISSIONARY CHURCH, 5900 Basore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45415, Thursday, August 16, 2012 starting at 11 am, greeting of Gwendolyn’s family will be12 noon. A celebration of Gwendolyn’s life will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Ted W. Milbry presiding, burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
