Bob was born in Aldine, Indiana to Cyril and Virginia Brooke on November 18, 1936. Bob graduated from Knox High School where he ran cross-country. Bob attended Ball State University on a cross-country scholarship and received his Teaching Degree in 1959 and received his Masters Degree in Education from Indiana State University. Bob was a Teacher, Principal and Administrator in the Kokomo School District for over 30 years.
Bob married his high school sweetheart, Judy Sharp in 1956. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Judy, his sons Mike (Jodene) of Rotonda FL, Mark ( Marita) of Fishers, IN, grandchildren Chad, Kayla (Jarrett) Creely, Colin (Kylie) and great grandchildren Irie, Ryder, Jacks, Brookeley and Callum.
Bob was very active in the Kokomo community. He was the Howard County Democrat Treasurer for many years. Connie Mack board, coach and friend.
Bob and Judy were snowbirds for most of their retirement years. They spent the Summers at Bass Lake, Indiana and Winters in Rotonda, Florida. Bob’s passions included golf, Cubs baseball, Ball State and Purdue teams and spending time with family and friends.
The Brooke family would like to thank Heritage Oaks of Englewood, FL and Tidewell Hospice for the compassion, care and comfort they provided for not only Bob but his family at the end of his life.
